We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer with a passion for solving complex problems in geolocation and digital communications systems. You will work with top-tier engineers, mathematicians, and computer scientists in a multidisciplinary environment to build and deploy real-world, mission-critical technology.

Key Responsibilities

• Architect, develop, test, deploy, and maintain integrated software systems.
• Design and build infrastructure to support seamless integration with third-party services.
• Collaborate closely with product managers, fellow engineers, and stakeholders to deliver innovative solutions.
• Lead and mentor junior engineers, providing technical direction and guidance.
• Research, invent, and implement advanced geolocation algorithms.
• Test solutions using real-world data and deploy in high-stakes operational environments.
• Participate across all functional areas: systems engineering, development, integration/test, deployment, and operations & maintenance.
• Stay on top of industry trends and bring new technologies into our tech stack.
• Contribute to a culture of innovation by proactively proposing ideas to improve our software frameworks and platforms.

Required Qualifications

• 15+ years of experience in software engineering.
• Expert in Golang development and modern software design patterns.
• Strong knowledge of data structures, algorithms, and data modeling.
• Proven experience designing scalable and maintainable software architectures.
• Deep experience building robust internal APIs and integrating third-party services.
• Skilled in software practices emphasizing testability and readability.
• Degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering (BS/MS/PhD).
• Active TS/SCI security clearance.

Preferred Skills

• Technical leadership and mentoring experience.
• Proficiency in C++ and Python for engineering/scientific applications in Linux.
• Experience with cloud platforms, especially AWS.
• Familiarity with JavaScript frameworks like VueJS or React.
• DevOps experience: GitLab, CI/CD, CVE mitigation, Docker, Kubernetes, PIP.
• Experience automating enterprise workflows.
• Strong background in Agile development and related practices.
